What Converts Well, and What Does Not
This tool is built for PDFs that contain real tables, whether bordered or laid out in clean columns. Those extract into rows and columns you can work with. A few things do not convert: a page of flowing text has no table to extract, so the tool will tell you it found none rather than forcing prose into cells; and a scanned table is an image with no underlying data, so it needs to be run through OCR first to create real text. If your document has genuine tables, you get a usable spreadsheet; if it does not, the tool says so honestly instead of producing a mess.
