Paste AI-written text and get a rewrite that aims to read more naturally, from an open language model we run on our own server. Free, with no account needed.
What Is an AI Humanizer?
Quick answer: An AI humanizer rewrites text from ChatGPT or another AI writer so it reads more like a person wrote it, with plainer word choice and a less uniform sentence rhythm. It can shift details, so try it on a short paragraph.
Ours runs the 7B model from the Qwen2.5 language models, an open model with about 7.6 billion parameters (its learned numbers), on our own server through Ollama, a local model runner.
Our prompt asks for plainer wording, varied sentence length, no robotic phrasing or repetitive phrasing, and the same meaning and facts. The model follows it unevenly. This isn't a fact checker, a translator or a way past any AI detector.
How to Humanize AI Text With This Tool
Paste your text. The box is labeled "Paste AI generated text" and wants 50 to 1,800 characters. It has no counter and your browser quietly stops a longer paste, so paste one paragraph of about 100 words (roughly 700 characters).
Press Humanize Text. The page reloads with your text still in the box. Scroll down to the status card: a progress bar, an Elapsed timer, a Cancel button and "Please keep this page open." Its heading reads "Starting...", "Waiting in line" while others are ahead, then "Loading the AI model and reading your text..." and "Humanizing your text..." (or "Humanizing part 2 of 3..." for longer text).
Read and compare. When the "Humanized Text" card appears, read it against your original, last sentence first, then every number, name and date.
Copy the result. Press Copy and the label becomes "Copied". "Humanize another" reloads the page with an empty box.
Before and After: Two Real Runs
On October 16, 2026 we pasted 46 words of AI-sounding boilerplate into the live tool as a guest, with a stock opener, buzzwords and hedging. The model, prompt and sampling settings are unchanged since, and here is one run's whole output, unedited.
In today's swift digital world, businesses need to use advanced technologies to compete. AI can streamline processes, boost productivity, and open up new growth chances. It's also crucial to note that companies embracing innovation are more likely to succeed.
The text shrank from 46 words to 39 in a light vocabulary pass: several phrases swapped, one dropped, a stock hedge kept. A sampling temperature of 0.8, a randomness dial, makes every run differ: three runs gave three different openers.
The second was 49 words of plain text we wrote about fixing a fence. It needed no rewrite, yet "stopped by with a shovel which helped a lot" came back as "dropped off a shovel, which was really helpful." Run your own paragraph and compare.
What the Rewrite Changes and What It Leaves Alone
Each row is a tendency from our tests, not a rule.

What to do
Stock phrases
Some swapped, some stayed: stiff transitions survived three runs on October 16, not the one on October 17.
Search for leftovers.
Bullet lists
Merged into one sentence on October 16 and 17. A "Second paragraph:" label vanished, paragraph breaks survived.
Rebuild lists by hand.
Numbers and the end
Early figures survived, but a fact-heavy run on October 16 stopped mid-sentence with no warning. A cut-off part is now trimmed to a whole sentence and flagged.
Compare the ending.
Length
Often shorter: 192 words became 125 in one run and 98 in another, and 89 became 66 on October 17.
Restore lost detail.
Plain, casual text
Details can change: "rotted through" became "rotting".
Check every change.
Em dashes
The model still wrote some on October 16 despite the ban. The tool now swaps each one for a comma.
Read the commas aloud.
Non-English text
Russian and Spanish paragraphs came back in English on October 16, Spanish again on October 17.
Paste English only.
Speed and Size: What to Expect From a CPU-Only Server
This large language model runs on a CPU with no graphics card. In timed requests on October 16, 2026 it wrote about 0.1 to 2.5 tokens a second (a token is roughly four fifths of a word), median near 1.1, and processing time shifts with load.
Size. The box takes 50 to 1,800 characters. The tool cuts text at paragraph and sentence breaks into parts of up to 110 words and sends each as its own request.
Time budget. A job gets 250 seconds of model time. When that runs out, finished parts are kept, the rest stays in your own wording and a note says how many were done. If no part finishes, the card says why, usually that the server is busy, and offers "Try again with the same text".
One measured run. On October 17, 2026 an 89 word paragraph took 133 seconds from click to result with nobody ahead of it: about 50 seconds loading the idle model and reading the prompt, then 81 tokens at 1.04 tokens a second, on a server busy with other work.
The queue. Our AI tools share one worker and run one job at a time. Each visitor gets one request at a time. Cancel stops yours; leaving the page does not.
What We Do Not Promise About AI Checkers
This humanizer tool is built to make text read more naturally, and we promise no result from any AI checker.
The research on bias in AI text detectors, a 2023 study, found that the detectors it tested consistently misclassified writing by non-native English writers as AI-generated. That detector bias makes a false positive possible, so we treat any score, ours included, as a hint.
If a school, employer or publisher forbids AI text or requires disclosure, a rewrite changes neither. Check the school policy, academic integrity rules or editorial guidelines.
For websites, Google's guidance on using generative AI content says it can help with research and structure, but many pages with no added value for users may break its spam policy on scaled content abuse. It also expects fact-checking and review before publishing, which a humanizer doesn't do.
Note: This is general information, not legal or academic advice.
Tips for a Better Rewrite
Split long text. The tool splits it too, but a busy server may finish only some parts, so send one passage at a time, about 100 words, stiffest paragraph first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) is a list of common questions and answers provided to quickly address common concerns or inquiries.
What is an AI humanizer?
An AI humanizer, also called an AI text humanizer, ChatGPT humanizer, AI text rewriter or AI to human text converter, edits AI-written text to read like a person wrote it. It targets wording rather than meaning, but details can shift, so review it.
How does this AI humanizer work?
You paste text, and Qwen2.5 7B, an open model that we run through Ollama, rewrites it on a CPU in parts of up to 110 words. The prompt asks for plainer wording and the same meaning, which the model follows unevenly. It samples its words, so runs differ.
Is this AI humanizer free, and do I need an account?
Yes, this free AI humanizer needs no sign-up. The text must be 50 to 1,800 characters, but a long paste takes longer and a busy server may finish only some parts, so we suggest one paragraph of about 100 words.
Will it get past AI detectors?
We do not promise that, and the tool is not built for it. Detectors can disagree and can also flag human writing, especially from non-native English writers, so a score is a guess. No humanizer can promise a particular result.
Is using an AI humanizer cheating?
It depends on the rules where you submit or publish. Some schools and employers require disclosure of AI use, and a rewrite does not change that. Follow the rule that applies to you, because hiding AI help can be the bigger problem.
Will it change my meaning or my facts?
It can. On October 16 one 63 word run stopped mid-sentence and lost its last facts, a 192 word paragraph came back 35 percent shorter once and 49 percent another time, and a plain fence paragraph changed a detail. Start with the ending.
Does it work in languages other than English?
No, not in our tests. A Russian paragraph and a Spanish one both came back in English, so the tool switched the language instead of rewriting in it. We have not tested other languages and make no claim about them. Write in English.
Will Google penalize humanized AI content?
Possibly, if the pages add little for users. Google's guidance says generative AI can help with research and structure, but many pages with no added value may break its spam policy on scaled content abuse. It says to fact-check before publishing.
