Convert Markdown to an editable Word document
Plenty of teams write in Markdown but deliver in Word: clients, reviewers and editors expect a .docx they can comment on and change. This tool converts your Markdown, including GitHub-flavored tables and fenced code blocks, into a proper Word document with real heading styles, not a flat wall of text.
How it works
- Upload a .md file, or paste your Markdown into the text box.
- Press convert. We use the same conversion engine trusted by publishers and universities, so structure survives: headings map to Word heading styles, lists stay lists and tables stay tables.
- Download the .docx and open it in Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice or Pages. Files are removed from our servers automatically after a short time.
Why heading styles matter
Because the output uses genuine Word styles, the navigation pane, table of contents generation and reference formatting all work in the downloaded file. That is the difference between a converted document and pasted text.
