The result is a tagged PDF with selectable text, described in PDF 1.7 (ISO 32000-1). One thing to check: the author name from the Word file is copied into the PDF Author field, so clear it in Word if you do not want it shared. The Producer field reads SEO Site Checker.
Fonts, Tracked Changes and Other Limits
Most layout differences come from fonts.
Fonts we match. Calibri and Cambria map to Carlito and Caladea, which are metric compatible, so they should keep their line breaks.
Fonts we replace. A font we lack is substituted, for example Segoe UI, Aptos or Garamond, and the PDF embeds a replacement font with different widths. Save with a common font, or use Save As PDF in Word when exact fonts matter.
Tracked changes. Track Changes markup shows as underlined insertions and struck through deletions, so accept them in Word first. Comments did not appear in our test.
Not tested. Password protected files, macros and equations. We have not tested password protected files, so remove the password in Word first. A damaged file ends with "Processing produced no output."
