How to Organize PDF Pages Step by Step
Upload. Choose a PDF or drop it on the area. Page thumbnails appear, numbered by position.
Arrange. Use drag and drop to rearrange PDF pages. A PDF scanned out of order with the cover page last needs one drag, and the page numbers renumber as you drop.
Generate PDF. A progress bar runs, then the result card appears.
Download. Uploading report.pdf gives report_organized.pdf, and your upload is untouched. Six pages took 2 to 3 seconds on the server.

Add More Files puts a second PDF in the same grid, so you can interleave pages. We combined a 6 page and a 3 page file, deleted one page and got 8 pages. The page shows 2 files, 60 MB each, for guests and 5 files, 500 MB, with a free account. For whole files, use Merge PDF.
What the New PDF Keeps and What It Drops
The PDF specification keeps pages in a page tree, and we copy those entries instead of redrawing them. Text stays selectable, images keep their resolution, and pdftotext read every page back in the dragged order.
In a test file with three bookmarks, a title, an author and a link to page 5, the bookmarks, the document properties and the title and author did not survive. The link kept its box but jumped to page 1 after a deletion, so check internal links by hand. The copy has no password, so protect it with the lock PDF tool. The engine is qpdf (qpdf command line reference).
